WATCH: New Zealand's Tim Robinson Replicates Glenn Phillips; Takes a Screamer At Point

New Zealand’s Glenn Phillips has been in the headlines every alternate day in the past month or so, sometimes due to his batting but mostly due to his ludicrous fielding. 

Hailed by many as the best fielder in world cricket currently, Phillips took a plethora of screamers in the recently-concluded Champions Trophy, in which New Zealand lost in the final.

Phillips is not part of the ongoing T20I series between New Zealand and Pakistan due to IPL commitments, but the Blackcaps didn’t miss him one bit as top-order batter Tim Robinson did his best Phillips impression today in Christchurch.

As the returning Shadab Khan looked to flay a wide ball from Kyle Jamieson through point, Robinson flew to his left and completed an outrageous catch. It was an incredible effort as Robinson was at full-stretch in mid-air at one point as he was completing his catch. 

The catch helped New Zealand reduce Pakistan to 11/4. They eventually bowled Pakistan out for 91 and chased the target inside 11 overs to take a 1-0 lead in the five-match series.
