WATCH: Mitchell Starc Rearranges Stumps For Fun Against LSG
The left-arm pacer finished with figures of 3/42 in his DC debut for LSG
Delhi Capitals’ left-arm pacer Mitchell Starc finished with figures of 3/42 in his first outing for the franchise against Lucknow Super Giants on March 24 (Monday). The left-arm pacer picked up the wickets of Nicholas Pooran, Shahbaz Ahmed and Ravi Bishnoi in the clash.
But it wasn’t just about the wickets, it was about the way in which he cleaned up the batters for fun. With Pooran batting on 75 off 29 balls, Starc had the task to bowl the tough over. The left-arm pacer delivered a pinpoint yorker, crashing and rearranging the stumps.
It was Starc's fourth dismissal of Pooran, with the left-hander averaging just three against the Australian. But he wasn’t done. The left-arm pacer then replicated that dismissal against Ravi Bishnoi, who was clueless.
Starc pitched it up in front of the stumps as Bishnoi gave the charge and went for a drive through the on-side. Starc rearranged the stumps once more, with two on the ground.
Vintage Starc? Well, DC might have hit the bumper with that signing.
