St Lucia Kings (SLK) lock horns with Jamaica Tallawahs (JY) in Match 24 of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2021 at Warner Park, St Kitts. The Kings are currently sitting in third position with eight points from six matches, while the Tallawahs are in the penultimate spot having picked up just four points from six matches. While St Lucia are on a three-match winning streak, Jamaica, on the other hand, have lost three matches in a row now.
However, when the two teams met earlier in the tournament, Jamaica had thumped St Lucia by a massive 120 runs, after they posted a massive 255 for 5. The Kings are well placed now to avenge that defeat.
Overall in the CPL, St Lucia have won just six of the 16 matches against Jamaica, however in the last five matches, they do have a slight 3-2 advantage.

In the last 10 matches at Warner Park, the pacers have struck once every 22 runs at an interval of 15.3 deliveries, which are significantly better numbers compared to the pacers who have picked up a wicket every 20.5 deliveries, 21.2 runs apart.

The average first innings score in the last 10 innings here has been 158 (133 in the second), however, the team batting first will eye a total in excess of 180 to breathe slightly easier. Batting first seems to be a good idea at this venue.
Captain
Roston Chase has been in incredible form in CPL this season and is currently the leading run-scorer this season with 241 runs at 80.33 to go with a strike-rate of 157.51. He has scored three fifties in the tournament all of which have come in the last three innings. The fact he can chip in with a few wickets with his off-spin is an added bonus. He has picked up six wickets from as many games at an impressive economy rate of 6.40. He has gone wicketless just once this season so far.
Our Criclytics Player Projector predicts Chase could fetch 22-59 points in this match
X-Factors
After going wicketless in his first game of the season – also against Jamaica – fast bowler Kesrick Williams has been in excellent form, picking up nine wickets in the next four matches. In his five matches so far, Williams has struck every 9.8 deliveries at an average of 12.66 and should be an obvious choice in your fantasy team.
Our Criclytics Player Projector predicts Williams could fetch 6-34 points in this match
Pakistan all-rounder Imad Wasim started off the tournament with a bang smashing a 38-ball 42 and also chipped in with a couple of wickets with the ball against the Knight Riders. In the past, he has bowled extremely well in the powerplay and has also whacked a few out of the park batting down the order. Tallawahs would hope that he does the same in this match and the rest of the tournament.
Our Criclytics Player Projector predicts Wasim could fetch 6-34 points in this match
South Africa fast bowler Migael Pretorius has already picked up two four-wicket hauls this season so far, including a career-best of 4 for 32 in the first match against the Kings. Overall, he has 12 wickets from six innings at a strike-rate of 12. His economy rate 10.33 is on the expensive side, but that should not deter you from picking Pretorius considering that he is a genuine wicket-taker.
Our Criclytics Player Projector predicts Pretorius could fetch 8-37 points in this match
