Rohit Leapfrogs Kohli, Klaasen To Become No.3 ODI Batter In ICC Rankings
Kuldeep Yadav moved to No.3 in the ODI bowling rankings, while Ravindra Jadeja also gained three places to move to 10th
Thanks to his match-winning 76 off 83 against New Zealand in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 final, Indian captain Rohit Sharma has climbed to No.3 in the ICC men’s ODI batting rankings.
Shubman Gill (784 points) and Babar Azam (770) are the only two batters ahead of the 37-year-old. Heinrich Klaasen (744) and Virat Kohli (736) are the next two on the list, making it three Indians in the top five.
Daryl Mitchell (up one place to sixth), Rachin Ravindra (up 14 spots to 14th) and Glenn Phillips (up six rungs to 24th) also made ground on the latest rankings for ODI batters.
In the bowling department, New Zealand captain Mitchell Santner climbed to No.2 in the ODI bowling rankings. The left-arm spinner claimed nine wickets in five games at an average of 26.67. Sri Lanka’s Maheesh Theekshana is the only one ahead of him.
India’s left-arm wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav, who took seven wickets in the competition, moved to No.3 in the rankings, while Ravindra Jadeja also gained three places to move to 10th.
