3 Indian CSK Bowlers Who Can Dismiss Virat Kohli In IPL 2025

Here are the three CSK Indian players who can dismiss Virat Kohli in IPL 2025

Virat Kohli has had a terrific career in the IPL with the star India batter being the highest run scorer in the tournament with 8000+ runs across 17 seasons. His performance against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) is spectacular as he has scored 1053 runs in 32 innings with nine fifties.

With the aim of becoming the highest run scorer against CSK, Kohli will be coming to Chennai on 28th March with a target to score big. But, there are a few Indian bowlers in the CSK line up who can trouble and dismiss Virat Kohli.

Here are the three Indian bowlers in CSK who can dismiss Virat Kohli in IPL 2025:

Ravindra Jadeja

19 inns, 157 runs, 3 dismissals, 52.3 average, 108 SR

Ravindra Jadeja for CSK

Virat Kohli has faced Ravindra Jadeja the most in IPL, playing 145 balls against the left-arm spinner, which is the joint most balls he has faced in the tournament with Ravichandran Ashwin.

He has an average of 50+ against him, striking at just over 100 and getting out thrice. With Kohli struggling against spin across formats in recent times, expect Jadeja to be a trouble maker against Virat in the upcoming IPL season.

Shreyas Gopal

6 inns, 68 runs, 3 dismissals, 22.7 average, 174 SR

Shreyas Gopal’s greatest moment in IPL has Virat Kohli in it as he was one of the three players that got out to him in his IPL hattrick against RCB in IPL 2019.

He has dismissed him thrice in the IPL, two of those instances being in Bengaluru. Heading into IPL 2025, Gopal can be used as a trump card by CSK, who can come in as an impact player and trouble Virat, whose struggle against leg spin has been well documented in recent months.

Khaleel Ahmed

4 inns, 34 runs, 1 dismissal, 34.0 average, 170 SR

Khaleel Ahmed in IPL

Khaleel Ahmed is going to be one of the lead bowlers for CSK in the upcoming IPL season. With Kohli probably opening the batting with Phil Salt, Khaleel Ahmed is going to trouble him in the powerplay.

In four face-offs between them, Kohli has dominated Khaleel, scoring at a strike rate of 170 and getting out only once in IPL 2019.
