ICC Women's Cricket World Cup Qualifier To Be Played In Lahore In April
The top two teams in the event will seal their places for the upcoming Women's Cricket World Cup
The International Cricket Council (ICC) have revealed the schedule for the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup Qualifier and it will be played in Lahore from April 9-19. The World Cup qualifier will feature a total of six sides, including hosts Pakistan, and will be played across two venues in Lahore — Gaddafi Stadium and Lahore City Cricket Association (LCCA) Stadium.
The top two teams in the event will seal their places for the upcoming Women's Cricket World Cup in India, scheduled to be played across October and November later in the year.
West Indies, Ireland, and Bangladesh are the full members participating in the tournament, aside from hosts Pakistan. Scotland and Thailand are the fifth and sixth teams, respectively.
Australia, England, New Zealand, South Africa, Sri Lanka, and hosts India have already qualified for the World Cup after finishing in the top six of the 10-team ICC Women’s Championship (2023-25).
