Rangpur Riders play like they are here to win. They recovered so well with the bat thanks to the likes of Shakib Al Hasan and Mahedi Hasan. Both added around 70 runs and gave a fighting total to play with. Dwaine Pretorius then took three wickets as he bowled four on a trot and the others bowled well too throughout. Rangpur Riders would have loved a win with a bigger margin but a win is a win.
Rangpur Riders have booked their place for the playoffs. It looked like a comfortable win but they were nervous for a while courtesy Romario Shepherd who put on a lone-fight. The game was done and dusted around the 15th over. However, Shepherd stayed out there and kept scoring along. He hit 22 runs in the penultimate over and made it a thriller with 29 needed in the last over but was just too much in the end. Chattogram Challengers didn't help themselves by losing 3 wickets inside 5 overs. There was too much work to be done then for the other batters.
