Known for his ability to go big, Yuvraj Singh turned back the clock when he struck three sixes in an over off former Australia leg-spinner Bryce McGain.
Overall, Yuvraj hit seven sixes and a four on his way to a 59-ball 30 for India Masters against Australia Masters in the semi-final of the International Masters T20 League 2025 in Raipur on March 13 (Thursday). He put on 47 off 29 for the third wicket with Sachin Tendulkar (42) and then a 19-ball 41 stand with Stuart Binny (36) to help the side to a mammoth 220/7.
Yuvraj has been in superb form in the tournament, having registered scores of 49*, 27* and 31* in the three innings before this. He weaved his magic with the ball as well, picking up 3/12 against South Africa Masters in Vadodara.
For Australia, barring a 30-ball 39 by Ben Cutting, it was a forgetful display with the bat as they were bundled out for just 126, thereby losing by 94 runs.
India will now face the winner of the second semi-final between West Indies Masters and Sri Lanka Masters in the final on March 16 (Sunday) in Raipur.
