IPL 2025: 3 Current Players Who Have Not Been Dismissed For A Duck In IPL

Here are three notable current IPL talent who are yet to get out for a duck in IPL

The Indian Premier League (IPL) has some of the best batting performances in T20 cricket history. There are players who have stepped up big time by playing match-winning knocks and there are some players who have failed to deliver and gotten out for a duck. Rohit Sharma, Glenn Maxwell and Dinesh Karthik are synonymous for getting out for most ducks in IPL. Then, there are these three current IPL players who are yet to get dismissed for zero in IPL.

SAI SUDHARSAN

Sai Sudharsan has had a dream run so far in the IPL, with the Tamil Nadu batter showcasing outstanding batting talent in the last three seasons representing Gujarat Titans (GT). He has played 25 games across the three seasons, scoring 1,034 runs and is one of the fastest to complete 1,000 IPL runs. In these 25 innings, he has managed six fifties and a century.

His batting has been so good that he has just one single-digit score in 25 IPL innings. Heading into the 2025 season, it will be interesting to see if Sai Sudharsan continues to get on the scoreboard every time or if we see him get out for a duck for the first time in the IPL.

RINKU SINGH

Rinku Singh has been an IPL wonder kid over the last couple of seasons. The UP star batter had his first breakout moment in IPL 2023 when he smashed five sixes in the final over against GT to win the match. The left-handed batter, who has been a part of IPL since 2017, only came into the limelight after that epic knock.

In his short IPL career so far, Rinku Singh has played 46 games, batting in 40 of them. He has managed 893 runs, an excellent strike rate of 143, smashing four fifties. Coming down the order at #5 and #6, the swashbuckling basher has a risk of getting out cheaply while attempting to go for big shots from ball one. Still, he has managed to make sure to open his account and contribute runs without getting out for a duck.

RAHUL TEWATIA

Rahul Tewatia not getting out for a duck is a surprising factor, as the experienced southpaw has been a part of the IPL for over 10 years. Debuting in 2014 for Rajasthan Royals, Tewatia was more of a leg-spinner who could bat until IPL 2020, where he had his breakout moment against Punjab Kings (PBKS) pacer Sheldon Cottrell, smashing him for five sixes in the 19th to seal the game for Rajasthan Royals.

In the 65 instances he has batted, he has not gotten out for a duck, which shows his ability to find out ways to score runs and not just go for mindless slogging.
