Follow UsFans of cricket will get to witness the Master Blaster in action with the bat in hand once again as Sachin Tendulkar has been confirmed to lead India in the forthcoming edition of the International Masters League T20.
A league for the retired players, Sachin will lead a star-studded Indian line-up that will feature Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina, Irfan Pathan and Ambati Rayudu among others. Recently, videos of Sachin having a hit in the nets went viral on social media. It can be assumed that the 51-year-old was warming up to feature in IMLT20 2025.
There will also be a host of legends from other countries that will be participating in the competition. Jacques Kallis and Hashim Amla (South Africa), Eoin Morgan and Kevin Pietersen (England), Kumar Sangakkara (Sri Lanka), Brian Lara and Chris Gayle (West Indies) and Shane Watson (Australia) are all slated to play in the tournament.
The tournament consists of six teams - India Masters, Australia Masters, West Indies Masters, England Masters, South Africa Masters and Sri Lanka Masters. It will be played from February 22 to March 16 across three venues: Reliance Stadium in Vadodara, Dr DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai and Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur.
