Can’t really write a lot about the Riders. They were totally outplayed. They entered with consecutive losses and it was another poor performance by them. They had a fine start to the tournament but it has ended in a very sorry manner. Rangpur Riders got Tim David and Andre Russell, their overseas players for a key clash but even they didn't make any impact. It was all about momentum, Rangpur Riders were coming without one while Khulna Tigers were high on confidence and looked a much better team today.
Khulna Tigers have roared! Quite a comfortable win in the end. It was never in doubt after the bowling performance by them. They did lose their skipper early but Alex Ross and Mohammad Naim batted brilliantly. Yet again, Naim was the highlight for them with the bat and Ross too played a good innings to give their side a one sided win. Rangpur Riders needed a miracle but it was close to impossible for them to do something.
