That's all from the game! The league stages are done and dusted! The Zouks have ended the league stage on a high and they will go into the semi-finals with confidence. The Tallawahs, on the other hand, will be a disappointing bunch as they should have won this game but have ended up losing it. They have a lot of work to do before the semi-finals. The semi-finals will be played on Tuesday, the 8th of September, 2020. The action begins with the clash of the Knight Riders and the Tallawahs! Join us for all the action starting at 1000 local (1400 GMT). Until then, cheers and take care.

Daren Sammy, the Zouks' skipper, says that he believed that they could have won the game after the Tallawahs were 84 for 0. Adds that it is never over until they get the last run. States that the bowling has been good. States that this is the kind of performance, they have been looking for from Zahir Khan. Says that the team plans come first and Kesrick is like a little brother to him and he told him to execute his plans. Says that he is really happy with the effort from his boys. States that they would love to win the semi-finals and how you play on Tuesday matters.

Rovman Powell, the Tallawahs' skipper,  says that the bowlers did well and he is happy with their effort. Tells Blackwood and Phillips have done well and they will be the openers for them in the semi-finals. He says the middle order needs to believe in themselves as it is semi-final time and hopes they can deliver then. On his own form, Powell says when it does not go your way, it is difficult but hopes that he can get runs in the semi-final.

For his game-changing bowling performance, Zahir Khan is the Player of the Match. Zahir says that he did not perform well prior to this game but he is happy to do well in this game. Adds that he knew players from the Tallawahs as he had played with them and this time it worked in his favour. Zahir says that the pitch was not an easy one to bat and they were lookinng to get couple of wickets in the middle overs and put pressure on the with those.

Earlier in the evening after opting to bat, th Tallawahs did not light up the world with their batting performance as they were stuttering but Najibullah Zadran's 25-ball 35 ensured the Zouks reach to a respectable total of 145. Which heading into the break looked 15-20 runs short but in the end it proved to be enough for the side from St Lucia to win the final league game of CPL 2020!

What a bowling performance from the St Lucia Zouks! Take a bow, Zahir Khan! Take a bow, Javelle Glen! The spin-twins came out of nowhere and decided to end the league stage of this season's CPL with a bang! The pair made the Tallawahs' batters dance to their spinning tune. The duo grabbed 3-wickets each and changed the tide of the match. The bowling was nothing special before the magic started as the Tallawahs were cruising. Skipper, Sammy desperately needed wickets and that is when his bowlers rose to the occasion and delivered. Sammy showed why he is one of the highly rated captains as he rotated his bowlers well and they finished with taking 9/50 in the last 51 balls of the innings.  The Zouks will be high on confidence after such a win and they will have the momentum they must have looked for heading into the semi-final.

WOW! What have we just witnessed here? The Tallawahs have stolen a defeat from the jaws of victory. Chasing 146, the Tallawahs were cruising at 84/0. No one would have blamed you had you tuned off from the game to check on the news or something but if you did, haven't you missed a massive collapse? The on-air commentators at one point were suggesting that the openers should retire for the middle order to have some run before the semi-finals but that was not needed at all. Tallawahs decided to shoot themselves on their foot and for the next 19 runs, they lost 7 wickets. Kirton did give Tallawahs some hope towards the end of a dragged on win but too much was left for the youngster to do and unfortunately he was unable to. The Tallawahs eventually capitulated and lost the game by 11 runs. A lot of questions will be raised about the Tallawahs' batting. How much impact will a lose of this type affect the Jamaica Tallawahs mentally heading into the semi-final?
