That is it! The hosts take the lead but West Indies would love to square things up as these two meet again at 'The Gabba' on the 25th of this month. A Pink ball Test match. Join us at 9.30 am IST (4 am GMT). Join us early for the build-up. Cheers!

Pat Cummins says it was a great Test match. Adds the ball was nipping across but Travis Head made the difference. Ends by appreciating the efforts of Josh Hazlewood. Adds Josh got it done in just one spell.

Kraigg Brathwaite says his bowlers did really well but the batters didn't get enough runs. Shares it was important for few players to get the feel of Test cricket, it is important to get some experience and learn from this game. On Shamar Joseph, he is full of energy, great future and can score runs as well.

Travis Head wins the Player of the Match award! He says the pitch was challenging but it was nice to get some runs. Adds the crowd was really great and hopes they enjoyed the action.

...Presentation next...

For West Indies, Shamar Joseph was the find of the game. Not just the way he bowled but he has shown great capabilities and definitely has a great future ahead. To some extent, even Kirk Mckenzie had a good game but West Indies definitely need a couple of changes going into the next game.

It was all about Josh Hazlewood then, he ran through the Windies batting top order and ended with a fifer. At one stage an innings defeat looked on the cards but the tail ensured that wasn’t the case. They helped Windies get into the lead but that was a slender one as Starc was on point this morning. Just 26 is what the Aussies needed and they knocked it off quickly. Chasing such a low score, it was convincing from the Aussie openers to get the job done.

In reply, Australia kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Shamar Joseph was the pick for the Windies. At one time, it seemed the Aussies wouldn’t be getting a lead of over 30 but it was Travis Head who smashed a brilliant ton and helped his side take a lead of just under 100. His 7th Test ton, the way he played turned out to be a big difference between the two teams.

The game ends how we thought it would, a massive win for the Aussies. They just seem unbeatable at the moment. Right from Day 1, they dominated the game, not all but most of the sessions. They managed to bowl the Windies out for a very low score. Hazlewood and Cummins were the star with four each. Chasing such a low score, it was convincing from the Aussie openers to get the job done.
