Kashvee Gautam Cleans Up Vrinda Dinesh With A Corker, Pulls Out Gill Like Celebration

Kashvee Gautam has been stellar this season for the Giants, picking seven wickets so far at an average of 14.4

Kashvee Gautam, the 21-year-old allrounder from Chandigarh, is on a roll with the ball in the ongoing Women’s Premier League (WPL). She is bowling some really big banana in swingers in the competition and getting the wickets of some of the best batters of the league, including Meg Lanning, Harmanpreet Kaur, Amelia Kerr and Richa Ghosh.

This time, against the UP Warriorz in Lucknow, she cleaned up Vrinda Dinesh with a special inswinger that started moving in as soon as she released it with a front on action. The ball’s seam position was perfect for an inswinger with the ball that was only three overs old until then.

It came in sharply to Vrinda, who was already in position to scoop it over the keeper for a boundary. However, the ball swung in more than Vrinda’s expectation and crashed into the middle of her stump.

Just like she did before, Kashvee pulled out an immaculate bow right after the stumps lit up, reminding of the celebration by the India senior men’s batter, Shubman Gill.

Kashvee could have got a wicket in the second over of the innings only, as Grace Harris failed to get away an inswinger that thudded into her pads and the umpire gave her out. However, the on-field call was reversed after the review.

Kashvee has had a stellar season so far in 2025, after missing the last one due to injury. She has picked seven wickets at an average of 14.4 and an economy of just 5.3.
