Kieron Pollard, Windies skipper, says it was a pleasing vicotry. The way Hope batted was good and the plan they come out with was executed. Mentions the bowlers did really well to pull things back or they would have been chasing something around 300. Credits the way Hope plays and says he plays the role given to him and says he is a fantastic player. Ends by saying the guys are up for it and they need to be consistent and keep doing better.

Dimuth Karunaratne Lankan skipper, says they lost a lot of wickets in between, especially the run outs hurt them and hence, they fell 30 to 40 runs short. Adds 230 is not a good score and the Windies batters batted well and they needed to score something around 280. Mentions Gunathilaka was looking good but his wicket changed everything and then they kept losing wickets.

Shai Hope, Man of the Match, says he just loves batting and to stay out there in the middle. Mentions the key is to stay out there, it is important to win the game for the team. Can't actually blame the Lankan bowlers, they did not have enough on the board! They still did bowl with discipline. Chameera was the pick with two wickets but it was a little too late. The spinners were good but wickets is what they needed adn the bowlers could not provide it.

A very comfortable win for the Windes! Chasing a moderate total, their openers did their bit by adding 143! Lewis departed after scoring a half ton but Hope went onto sto score a century. Bravo also playued a decent hand and the two continued the good work. Hope did fall as the Windies came close to the score of Lanka but Mohammed and Bravo finished things off.
