Right then! That is it from this thriller! The action in the CPL continues as Jamaica Tallawahs take on St Kitts and Nevis Patriots at 7 pm local (11 pm GMT). Do join us for that. Till then, adios and take care!

Nicholas Pooran, the victorious skipper of Guyana Amazon Warriors, says that they fought really hard and bowled extremely well. Adds that they need to work on their batting as a unit and improve in the middle overs. Credits Romario Shepherd by saying that his work ethic and body language is outstanding and he wanted to prove himself. Signs off by saying that off the field they are bonding well as a family and they want to continue with this winning momentum.

Kieron Pollard, captain of Trinbago Knight Riders, says that they should have got over the line having just 7 to chase in the Super Over and takes the blame solely on himself. Adds that they need to be smarter and show some intent. Credits the bowlers and fielders for putting in a good performance. Praises Akeal Hosein by saying that it was a fantastic catch from him and also praises him for the last over where he had to defend 7 runs.

...THE PRESENTATION...

Guyana Amazon Warriors had to chase 139 and they did not start well with the bat. Shimron Hetmyer and Shoaib Malik then looked to steady the ship but could not quite get going either. In the end, Romario Shepherd and Naveen-ul-Haq took the game to the Super Over. Earlier in the day, Guyana bowled brilliantly to keep TKR to 138. None of the batsmen could get themselves going on a sluggish pitch and it was actually Isuru Udana's cameo which lifted the total close to 140. Shepherd shone there too, with a 3-fer while the Professor, Hafeez, was at his best on a slow deck, taking 3 scalps. Please stay tuned for the presentation.

Trinbago Knight Riders were brilliant with the ball but it was just not their day. Defending 138 isn't an easy task against the batters like Shimron Hetmyer, Nicholas Pooran, Mohammad Hafeez. Ravi Rampaul started the proceedings as he scalped back-to-back wickets. They bowled with disciplined lines and lengths as they didn't allow the opposition to score any big shots. A small partnership was building between Hetmyer and Hafeez but that was cut down by Khary Pierre. The change from Pollard to bring back Narine for his last over, worked wonders as he too scalped back-to-back wickets and that too of the set batsmen. The game was very much alive till Pooran was out there but Ravi Rampaul came back for another spell and got the better of him. At one point, it looked like TKR had the match in their hands but the script was not completed yet. Some lusty blows from Romario Shepherd and Naveen-ul-Haq, in the end, took the game away from them and into the Super Over. There too, TKR had the game in their hands, with Sunil Narine restricting Guyana to just 6, but that 'JUST' 6 proved to be too much!

An excellent performance from Romario Shepherd, brilliant, absolutely brilliant. Kept his nerve right till the end. And for his brilliant performance, Romario Shepherd is the MAN OF THE MATCH as well. Shepherd says that the coach had told him previously that he will be bowling the Super Over. Adds that he is pleased and is also working hard on his batting. Further says that every win is crucial from now on, but a win against Trinbago Knight Riders is much more special, as it came when his team had its back against the walls.

Imran Tahir is warming up for Guyana. Out walk the two openers, Colin Munro and Kieron Pollard. But hang on. It is not Tahir! Guyana have chosen to go with Romario Shepherd. Well... Polly to face. 2 balls to the finish? Here we go...

... THE SECOND RUN CHASE ...

Half a dozen should not be enough. That is what Danny Morrison says on air. And we agree. Guyana barely got going in that one over and earned just one boundary. Narine was simply phenomenal in that over and TKR should not be breaking any sweat in chasing this down. Stay tuned for the run chase.

Romario Shepherd is the last batter in.

Right. We have the confirmation. Nicholas Pooran and Shimron Hetmyer are the openers for Guyana Amazon Warriors. And it is the mystery man, Sunil Narine, to bowl the over for TKR. Some arguments upfront, between Pollard and the umpire. Not sure, what is it all about. Whatever it was, it has been sorted. Just a stat - TKR have played 2 Super Overs in the CPL and lost both! One of those has been to Guyana. Will history be made or repeated? Here is Pooran to face...

Come down to a matter of 8 blokes, aye? Or maybe, not 8. Maybe the same bloke could be instrumental with both, bat and ball. Three batters allotted to both sides and one bowler will bowl. One would suspect it would be Pooran, Hetmyer and Malik as the three nominated batsmen for Guyana. Who would bowl for Trinbago though? So many options. Hosein, who bowled a wonderful 20th over, Rampaul, Udana, Narine and Pollard himself! Wow!

The flip of the coin is done and this time, Kieron Pollard has won the toss. TRINBAGO KNIGHT RIDERS HAVE ELECTED TO CHASE. It is always better to know the target in a Super Over and hence, perhaps the decision.

Both the teams are in their respective huddles. The umpires and the match referee are in a chat as well. Now, the two captains get together again. Remember, in the CPL, we have a separate toss for the Super Over.

We are heading for the SUPER OVER! Well, well, well. Who would have thought this? When the run chase began, we all felt that the Knight Riders were the favourites but some decent death-over hitting has seen the match end level. Even now, TKR start as favourites, because they have plenty of options, haven't they?

Who will bowl the final over? It is Akeal Hosein. 8 needed from the last over, can he defend it?
