Right then, that it is it from this entertaining game, and now we have all the three teams who are going to the playoffs. Welsh Fire Women are already in the final as they finished top of the table. Oval Invincibles Women will face London Spirit Women in the Eliminator. However, the action does not end here.. Now, the Invicinvlbes and Trent Rockets will go up against each other in the Men's competition. That game will begin in a short while, and you can just switch tabs to enjoy all the build-up to the game. Cheers!
Marizanne Kapp is the PLAYER OF THE MATCH for her brilliant all-round show. She says that she got the flashbacks from the game they played two years ago. The situations were similar but she is happy that they got over the line. Ends up saying she has been playing for over 15 years and addresses that she is overwhelmed at the moment to go through the playoffs.

Earlier in the game, Trent Rockets Women huffed and puffed their way to a total of 91 courtesy of a lone fighting knock of 43 from Ashleigh Gardner. Marizanne Kapp was the pick of the bowlers for Oval Invincibles Women with three wickets while the others also supported her well and that too in a virtual knockout. While chasing, things got a bit close, but Kapp and Paige Scholfield managed their way nicely and made sure that they go through to the Eliminator.
Trent Rockets Women, on the other hand, will be disappointed as they are knocked out of the tournament but they gave a good run for the money to the Oval Invincibles Women. The bowlers were good at keeping the runs in check and not giving away that many loose balls. Ashleigh Gardner was exceptional as usual, picked up a couple of wickets and gave a good scare to the chasing side towards the end. Alana King, Heather Graham, and Kirstie Gordon chipped in with one each and were economical as well, but in the end, they just did not have enough runs on the board.
Oval Invincibles Women took a steady approach at the start but lost their skipper. Lauren Winfield-Hill quite early. Chamari Athapaththu played a few lusty blows and despite getting a second life could not make the most of it. Alice Capsey also failed to make much impact. However, it was the partnership of 51 runs between Marizanne Kapp and Paige Scholfield that did not let the game get away from them. The latter was dismissed at the wrong time for them, but Kapp kept her cool and showed her experience to get them over the line when they were under a bit of pressure towards the end.
Who else? It is that woman, Marizanne Kapp once again! She has once again proved to be the match-winner for Oval Invincibles Women. Kapp just thrives in crunch situations like this and more often than not gets her team over the line. As for, Trent Rockets Women, they fought really well to make a game out of this, but their journey ends here and London Spirit Women can take a sigh of relief as they qualify for the Eliminator against the Invictibles.
