That is all from this game. Southern Super Stars will be back in action tomorrow. They will be high on confidence as they will face Gujarat Greats on the 26th of this month at 7 pm IST (1.30 pm GMT). Do join us earlier for the build up. Till then, cheers!

Dinesh Karthik says Chirag Gandhi batted really well. Tells they gave away 30-40 runs more, credit to Nurse and Dunk for the way they batted. Mentions the players take this competition seriously and they take a lot of pride in it.

Chirag Gandhi wins the Player of the Match award. He says it is a pleasure to play in this league and it's a big opportunity to play with this legend. Tells all of them share their experience and right now they are playing well.

Ian Bell says they were happy at the halfway point, they batted well, Ben Dunk and Ashley Nurse changed things for them quickly. Feels the wicket got better as the game went on but the fielding wasn't that good. Shares they are trying their best plan and have paying attention to detail. Ends by saying he is loving this tournament.

... Presentation...

Earlier, Abdur Razzak's two maiden overs inside the Powerplay reeled India Capitals near 50 runs at the halfway mark but Ben Dunk and Ashley Nurse joined hands to add more than 100 runs to give India Capitals a wonderful momentum. However, Southern Super Stars chased it down with 4 balls to spare.

It was a calculative chase from Southern Super Stars who started watchfully with Martin Guptill and Goswami. They kept losing wickets regularly but there were some handy contributions from everyone. Rahul Sharma took the big wicket of Guptill and Dinesh Karthik and even of Negi in his final over. But who saw it coming, Gandhi and Karia's super chase and the match winning stand helped them pull out something special. It was not an easy pitch to bat on however it did get a bit better as the game progressed.

Southern Super Stars have pulled off an unlikely win. What a performance from them. They looked done and out once Pawan Negi got out. It felt like the game was over but Southern Super Stars struck 21 runs off Colin de Grandhomme's 17th over and that was the turning point. It just rebooted the confidence and after that Gandhi and Karia gave nothing away.
