Right! That caps off another easy game for the hosts. They pocket the series with one game still to come. Another forgetful game for the visitors. They will now look to bounce back in the last game of the series. The third and final game of the series will be played on Monday, 25th January 2021. The action will begin at 1100 local (0530 GMT). Join us for the action then. For now, it is goodbye from our side. Cheers and take care!

Winning skipper, Tamim Iqbal, starts by saying that it was nice to spend some time in the middle with the bat. On the entire approach of the team, Tamim says that there is a lot of hunger in the dressing room. Feels that players are fighting for the XI which is healthy for the team. Says the players are working really hard in the practice sessions. On the final game, Tamim says that they might make a few change in the team.

Mehidy Hasan is named Player of the Match award for a fine bowling performance. Starts by saying that he is really happy. Tells he is getting a player of the match award after a long time, so he is happy. Says he didn't bowl well in the first ODI so he is happy to get wickets here. Adds he wanted to bowl in the right areas. Says playing in the BPL along with Tamim helps him a lot.

Jason Mohammed, the West Indies skipper, says that he is disappointed with the performance. Feels that the wicket was better than the first game but they failed to put on a good score. Adds that they kept losing wickets at regular intervals and that's where they failed here. Praises performance from Akeal and Powell. Hopes to see the others put on a good show in the last game.

Stay tuned for the post-match presentation!

You can't fault the Windies bowlers again. They had a very low score to defend. The bowlers did well, especially the spinners. Akeal and skipper Jason bowled tightly and made the batters work hard for the runs. Both got one wicket. Reifer too bowled well and accounted for the wicket of Shakib. However, the score put on by their batters was always going to be short and that's exactly the case was.

It was a fine bowling performance from the hosts. Mehidy was the pick of the bowlers as he took a 4-fer. Shakib and Mustafizur got two to their name while Hasan Mahmud picked up a wicket as well. Overall, another fantastic bowling performance from the Bangladeshi bowlers. They set up the win and the batters completed the job.

Earlier in the game, West Indies opted to bat after winning the toss. The decision turned out a poor one as they lost half their side for less than 50. They were well on course of getting bundled out for under 100 but Powell along with Joseph and Akeal added useful runs and provided some sort of respectability to the total.

Chasing the total, Liton Das gave a good start as he played a few delightful strokes before falling in the 6th over of the chase. After that, skipper Tamim along with Shanto added 47 for the 2nd wicket and took them close to the total. Shanto departed for 17 but the skipper continued. He got to his half ton before getting out. However, Shakib along with Mushfiqur took the team over the line.

Another calm and composed chase from the hosts and they take the unassailable lead in this 3-match series. The asking rate was never a problem for them and once again they took the risk-free approach. Skipper Tamim led the way with a fine half ton and then Shakib held the fort to take the team home.
