Right then, that's all from the second ODI. After a defeat in the first ODI, India Women were expected to fight back and sure they did. They have brought the series back on level terms with a dominating victory. On the other hand, Bangladesh Women came into this game high on confidence but have been handed a crushing loss here. The third and final ODI of this series will take place at the same venue on Saturday, the 22nd of July. The first ball will be bowled at 9.00 am IST (3.30 am GMT). As always, you can join us early for the build-up. Until then, take care and goodbye!

Harmanpreet Kaur, the captain of India Women, says that they wanted to bat first and it was a great opportunity for them to bat first and set a good total. Adds that they knew that one of her or Jemimah Rodrigues need to bat till the end and she is glad that they were able to build a good partnership. Mentions that they were batting on the flat tracks before this series and are playing ODI cricket after a long time and so they could not adjust in the first game. Adds that they talked about the mistakes they did and how to adjust on wickets in Bangladesh. Says that it will be a good final game of the series in two days' time

Jemimah Rodrigues is the Player of the Match for her all-round performance. She says that they had spoken about bouncing back after the loss. Mentions that it was a good start from Smriti Mandhana and Yastika Bhatia. Shares that it was a good partnership of her with Harmanpreet Kaur. Adds that bowlers came in and finished the job. On her bowling, she says that she did not try to do anything extra and that she just looked to bowl in the right areas.

Nahida Akter, the stand-in skipper of Bangladesh Women, says that the fielding was not good from their side and that allowed India to post a big total. Adds that Bangladesh would look to cross the hurdle and hopes to do well in the next game.

Time for the presentations...

Earlier in the game, after Nigar Sultana won the coin toss and put India Women into bat, the visitors were rocked early as they lost Priya Punia in the second over. Despite the early loss, Yastika Bhatia and Smriti Mandhana kept the scoreboard ticking. Having reduced to 68-3, Harmanpreet Kaur's 52 and Jemimah Rodrigues' 86 helped India get to a fighting total of 228. For Bangladesh Women, Nahida Akter was their most economical bowler on the day and had two wickets to her name.

In pursuit of 229 runs, Bangladesh Women were dealt twin blows as they lost both openers in the space of nine deliveries. Lata Mondal departed early as well and Bangladesh Women found themselves struggling at 38-3. Fargana Hoque and Ritu Moni got together and steadied the ship with a 68-run stand. However, once this partnership was broken, it all went downhill for Bangladesh Women. From 106-3, the hosts simply surrendered themselves against the spin of Devika Vaidya and Jemimah Rodrigues and in no time they were rolled over for 120.

A clinical bowling effort by India Women sees them register a comprehensive victory! With this massive 108-run win, the visitors have levelled the three-match ODI series! Having done well with the bat, the visitors took that momentum into their bowling effort. The pacers and spinners combined together and kept testing the Bangladesh batters from ball one. The pair of Fargana Hoque and Ritu Moni showed resistance against them but Devika Vaidya who was brought back into the attack delivered big time for Harmanpreet Kaur. Jemimah Rodrigues joined in on the act and piled more misery on Bangladesh Women. Devika Vaidya and Jemimah Rodrigues put on an absolute clinic of spin bowling to skittle Bangladesh Women out.
