Right. That is all we have from this game. Southern Brave have played well and they go into the knockouts, whereas, Oval Invincibles crashes out of the race to make the top 3. We are into the endgame of The Hundred as there are only a few group stage games lined up. On Tuesday, 17th August, we will see the clash between Northern Superchargers against Birmingham Phoenix. The first ball will be bowled at 6.30 pm local (5.30 pm GMT). We hope to have your company for the same. Cheers!

James Vince, the captain of Southern Brave, says that it was a little tricky losing early wickets. Credits Davies and says de Grandhomme found form at the right time. Vince says that they knew Jacks was going to come hard and they expected it. Credits the bowlers for pulling things back. Vince says that they have been chasing similar totals in this venue and credits Davies and de Grandhomme's partnership. Vince says the Women's team has been outstanding and says it has been a treat to watch them go to the Finals. Tells it was a rocky start for them but he is happy to qualify. Vince says they cannot control what happens tomorrow but says whatever happens they are happy to take it. Vince says they kept their nerves well and credits every player for their performance.

Alex Davies is the Hero of the Match! Davies jokes that it does not help when you run the skipper out. Tells that he is thankful they got over the line. Davies says he prides himself on being versatile and is happy to bat wherever they need him to bat. Davies says he loves de Grandhomme as he is a calming presence. Adds that getting into the top 3 is good enough for them. Davies says the Ageas Bowl crowd has been great throughout the tournament.

When you look at the result, you would think that the bowlers of Oval were poor, but it was not the case. They actually started off very brightly, as they removed the openers of Brave in no time. They also removed Vince with a brilliant run out, but the two partnerships between Davies and Garton first, then, Davies and Colin saw them lose this clash. Tom Curran bowled really well as he finished with a solitary wicket and only conceded 8 runs in his 15 balls. Mahmood was decent too and so was Narine, but they needed to get regular wickets, which evaded them. In the end, it was not enough for them and their journey in this year's Hundred has come to an end.

Southern Brave tried to start off in a brave manner, but it did not really work out for them. Quinton de Kock scored a couple of boundaries before he holed out. His opening partner, Paul Stirling too could not get going, as he gave an easy catch to Ingram soon after. James Vince and Alex Davies steadied the ship slightly before an unfortunate run out meant the end of the road for the Brave skipper. Just like the Vince dismissal, the next dismissal had a similar taste, as Davies and George Garton had raised a decent stand, but another run out broke this stand too. It was then, that Davies and Colin de Grandhomme came together and weathered the storm. They played smartly and kept the run rate in check and took their side home calmly towards the end, defeating OVI by 6 wickets.

Wow! What a game of cricket we have had. It has gone right to the wire and it is the Southern Brave who come out on top and take the first position on the table (at least, temporarily) and book their place in the knockouts. Since this game was practically a knockout of sorts, as the loser of this clash would be going home, it is Oval Invincibles, who have been knocked out of the reckoning for the top 3 and they crash out of the tournament.

Change in bowling. 39 needed off 30 balls! Sunil Narine is back on. Can he get the wicket, Oval Invincibles desperately crave?
