Ryan Burl, MAN OF THE MATCH, says he came in at a tricky stage and he's happy he got a partnership with Yasir. Credits Ali for the way he batted. Mentions they got to a par score as the wicket was a touch slow.
There was just no momentum, a few of their batters got off to starts but none went onto make it big. Whenever they got going a wicket would fall and in the end they have fallen well short and have been handed their first defeat.
Finally, a team is able to defend a score in Sylhet. A really good effort. Very smart bowling changes and excellent execution of the plans. They began with an offie and got a wicket in the first over itself. It was all spinners after that. Jishan Alam, SM Meherob and Gazi were brilliant. Taskin and Burl too did their jobs nicely. Chowdhury and Islam did take a wicket each towards the end.
