Presentations coming up...

Earlier in the game, the Northern Warriors’ decision to bowl first paid off as Azmatullah Omarzai took two wickets in the opening over. Despite Alex Hales and Ravi Bopara targeting debutant Kelvin Pitman for 16 runs in the fifth over, Trent Boult struck twice in the sixth, leaving the Warriors at 42/4. Bopara and Gulbadin Naib added some runs, but both fell by the ninth and final overs, respectively. They finished with 80 runs, aided by a remarkable two-run final over from Uzair Khan.

With a modest target of just 81 runs to chase, the Northern Warriors approached their task with confidence and ease, ultimately sealing a comfortable victory with 9 of their wickets remaining. Ajman Bolts will be upset with the batting and their bowling as well as they failed to even put up a fight. They will look to leave this behind and bounce back strong in their next game.

A comprehensive victory for the Northern Warriors! They made an explosive start in their innings, with Finn Allen and Colin Munro executing their game plan with aggressive intent from the outset. Munro was dismissed early, falling to a well-placed delivery from Mohammad Mohsin. However, Brandon King quickly joined Allen at the crease, and the two embarked on a good partnership. King showcased his power-hitting ability at the start, adding to the pressure on the Ajman Bolts' bowlers but slowed later as the required rate was low while Finn Allen continued with the aggressive approach. The latter was always the anchor of the innings as he ended with an unbeaten 41 runs.
