Right then, that is it from this exciting clash where Delhi Bulls take down New York Strikers. Next up in the Abu Dhabi T10 League is an encounter between UP Nawabs and Chennai Brave Jaguars. You can just switch tabs to enjoy all the coverage of that match. Cheers!

Rovman Powell, the victorious skipper of Delhi Bulls says that it is important to peak at the back end of the tournament and they are doing exactly that. Praises his bowling unit for restricting the New York Strikers to a low total. Ends by saying that bowling has been their strength throughout the tournament and he hopes they continue this good form.

Fazalhaq Farooqi is the PLAYER OF THE MATCH for his excellent bowling spell. He says this match was crucial for them. Add the first wicket of Kusal Perera was special for him. Mentions the seamers always love the short format as they get to test their skills.

Presentation Time...

New York Strikers, on the other hand, will be disappointed but they did not have enough runs on board here. Earlier in the game, the batters failed to make an impact. Akeal Hosein and Donovan Ferreira scored 17 runs each, which was the highest individual score, and that says a lot as no one could cross the 20-run mark. Except for Sunil Narine and Reece Topley, every other bowler got a wicket each for them, but that was never going to be enough to defend such a small target.

Chasing a modest total, Delhi Bulls got off the blocks quickly. Both the openers scored freely and showed urgency to get to the total as quickly as possible. James Vince departed after a well-made 30 off just 15 balls while his partner, Tom Banton also followed suit. However, by then they reduced that target by more than half and set up a good platform. The Bulls did stutter a bit towards the end, but a fiery 21 off just 14 balls from Tim David got them closer to the finish line while Fabian Allen got the job done with one over to spare. However, to be honest, this win was set by the bowlers with Fazalhaq Farooqi and Sam Cook sharing six wickets equally, while Shadab Khan was impressive, picking up two crucial wickets. Salman Irshad also showed his incredible yorkers and got one and bowled that brilliant last over.

A fantastic win for the Delhi Bulls! They have outplayed their opponents on all facets of the game with an all-round effort. This win also takes them to the fourth position in the table and New York Strikers slip down to sixth and will have to depend on other results for the playoff qualification.
