Presentation Time...

Sunrisers Eastern Cape crumbled under MI Cape Town’s relentless attack, skittled out cheaply after being put into bat. David Bedingham’s gritty 45 and debutant Andile Simelane’s fight were the only silver linings in an otherwise forgettable outing. Corbin Bosch led the charge with a brilliant four-fer for the hosts, Kagiso Rabada struck twice, and every bowler except George Linde - who kept it tight - chipped in to cap off a clinical display. Defending a modest total, SEC’s bowlers stood no chance as MICT’s openers tore them apart, sealing a crushing defeat for the visitors!

Rassie van der Dussen and Ryan Rickelton came out all guns blazing, determined to finish this in a hurry! The MI Cape Town openers tore into the bowlers, blending power with precision to wipe out more than half the target inside the Powerplay. Their third 100-run stand in SA20 was a masterclass - Ryan’s fiery fifty and RVD’s unbeaten 48 off 30 sealed a ruthless win with nine overs to spare!

MI Cape Town shows why Newlands is a fortress for them with a thumping win! Their fourth on the trot at home and the fans are buzzing here. Outclassing the two-time champions in all departments, they storm into the top two with a bonus point in the bag. A statement victory, a warning to the rest - MICT are here to dominate, and with two shots at the final, they mean business!
