Skipper Wayne Parnell picked up 4 wickets in the match and kept a calm head towards the end of the chase and could have been a front-runner for the Player of the Match award but as per the algorithm, this award goes to Kagiso Rabada.
MI Cape Town will be shell-shocked at the moment. It appeared to be a below-par batting show from them at the end of the first half but the way they bowled, it handed them the upper hand. The bowlers of MICT kept chipping away at the wickets and maintained good pressure. However, the knock by Kyle Verreynne put them under pressure.
