Right then, that was it from the exciting game between Siechem Madurai Panthers and IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans where IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans earned their first win of the season. However, the action from the Tamil Nadu Premier League doesn't stop here. Just switch tabs to get to out coverage of the next game between Lyca Kovai Kings and Nellai Royal Kings at this same venue. The toss is conducted and it is Lyka Kovai Kings who won the toss and elected to field first. Do join us for the next game as well. Until then, goodbye and cheers!

B Anirudh Sita Ram is the Player of the Match for his impactful performance.

The Presentation ceremony…

Earlier in the innings, we saw the Siechem Madurai Panthers struggling in the initial overs losing many wickets in the process. However, the batters lower down the order took the onslaught to the bowlers. Sri Abisek, Uthirasamy Sasidev, and Swapnil Singh batted brilliantly and added a lot of runs to the board. The bowlers did well in the middle overs but couldn’t keep the pressure on towards the death. Ajay Chetan was the star for the IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans with his three wickets. Amith Sathvik V P shone in the field with his three stunning catches.

The Siechem Madurai Panthers had a great start to their innings. Gurjapneet Singh and L Kiran Akash struck early to dismiss the openers. However they were put under attack by the next two batters. It was the spin magic of Murugan Ashwin which saved them and he got 4 quick wickets. However, their poor bowling and fielding didn’t help their side. The bowlers tried hard but the batters were sensible enough to not take any further risks. They failed to defend the total and an extra 10-15 runs in the first innings might have helped their side.

The IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans had a shaky start to their innings as they lost two quick wickets. However, Amith Sathvik V P and B Anirudh Sita Ram, the impact player stabilized the innings and put up a great stand. They got their team ahead of the required run rate but after their wickets, they again fell behind the eight-ball mark. S Mohamed Ali and Sai Kishore again had the responsibility of releasing the pressure. The explosive batting in the middle overs helped their team not be under immense pressure when wickets fell. That helped them stay ahead of the run rate and in a comfortable position. With the finishing shot by S Mohamed Ali they earned themselves the first points in this season.

S Mohamed Ali deals the knockout blow to the Siechem Madurai Panthers and gets his team their first victory of the season. That was a brilliant batting performance by the middle order of IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans to get themselves over the finish line.
