That is it! Three places done, one to go for the qualifiers. Switch the tabs and join us for the action of the second match of the day, Lahore faces Quetta. Till then, cheers!

Shadab Khan says they have players caliber of chasing huge scores. Mentions during the first inning, they knew it was a huge score but they were confident with their players and even the pitch was good to bat on. Hopes Munro recovers well.

Mohammad Rizwan says Islamabad United played really well. Tells they were not able to execute the plans with the ball. Tells this game shows they have made a couple of difficulties and hopes to come back stronger.

Colin Munro wins the Player of the Match award. He says Multan Sultans put them under pressure, they didn't bowl well but tells they adopted with the bat, played fire with fire and just went after it. Tells this shows cricket is a mental game. Reckons it was an important game but credits the way Wasim played in the end. This game gives a lot of confidence to them. On his injury, he is not sure but hopes to get fully fit.

The man of the hour, Imad Wasim is up for a chat. He says last year they were in a similar situation but failed to cross the line, this time he trusted the process. Adds they believed right till the end, Munro and Shadab played brilliantly. Reckons he is happy to help his team to qualify. Appreciate the way Usman Khan played but tells Munro's innings was one of the best ball striking he has seen.

You have to feel for Usman Khan, a century of the highest level but in the end, it is of no use. Multan Sultans had plenty of runs to play and started well with the ball but lost the track. Usama Mir was taken to the cleaners. Multan Sultans did a comeback in patches but when it mattered the most, they allowed the pressure get better of their nerves. Multan Sultans will be disappointed with how they have bowled. A massive, massive win for United. They qualify for the playoffs.

Both scored their respective fifties before getting out. At the 10th over mark, Islamabad United were in a good position but they failed to hit few boundaires and that saw a small collapse. Faheem Ashraf though played a gem of a knock under pressure along with the man of the hour, Wasim. Both kept the hopes alive, Faheem Ashraf then fall in the last over but Naseem Shah simply knocked around, took a single and allowed the experienced man to do the job.

What a game! Literally lost for words! Just can't believe what has happened. At the innings break, Islamabad United were done and out. Chasing such a massive score it was near to impossible for them. On top of that, they lost two wickets in two overs and in the next over Colin Munro pulled his hamstring but that turned out to be the turning point of the match. Munro started to just stand and deliver all over the ground. He and Shadab Khan put on a massive 141 stand.
