ABDUL SHAKOOR IS NAMED AS THE MAN OF THE MATCH!
Warriors' bowling was just like the Arabians as they too were carted in the first few overs but Fabian Allen brought them back into the game as he ended with a couple. Maheesh Theekshana had a wicket to his name on the 3rd ball of the Arabians' chase as Rayad Emrit too had a wicket to his name. The game went down the wire courtesy of Wayne Parnell's first three balls off the last over as the Warriors lost the game on the final ball.
Chasing a total of 128 then needed one person to stay there till the end and they found one in Abdul Shakoor. The right-handed batsman went beserk from ball one as he smashed the Northern Warriors bowlers to all parts of the ground as he brought up his fifty. Just when they were in touching distance of a win, Shakoor departed causing a mini collapse as they lost another wicket soon after. And they went onto win the game in a most dramatic fashion as they won the game on the last ball.
