Right then, we are done with the qualifying stage and Sri Lanka, Namibia, Scotland and Bangladesh have crossed the first hurdle. From Saturday, 23rd October 2021, the Super 12 stage is all set to begin. Dasun Shanaka, the victorious captain of Sri Lanka, says that the bowlers were executing really well and it was a very good performance. It was a match thoroughly dominated by their bowlers as they bundled out the Dutch team for just 44 - the second-lowest total in T20 World Cup history. After that, it was a mere formality and Sri Lanka romped home in 7.1 overs. Kusal Perera remained unbeaten on 33 and Sri Lanka will be pleased that he struck some form before the main tournament.
