Right then, that's it for this match but there's plenty of action coming your way on 5th September as St Kitts Nevis Patriots take on the Saint Lucia Kings in match number 17. That one starts at 10 am Local time (2 pm GMT). Do join us for that. Goodbye and take care till then.

Earlier in the day, Barbados Royals elected to bat first but they struggled throughout their innings and managed to put up just 130 runs on the board. Guyana Amazon Warriors were impressive with the ball and Chandrapaul Hemraj was superb for them with the bat. In the end, the Warriors made short work of the run chase and won the match by 9 wickets, propelling them up to third in the table.

Jason Holder, the captain of Barbados Royals says, that it was a tough day. Mentions that they never really got momentum. Tells that trying to defend 131 was always going to be a tough task. Tells that Ashley Nurse bowled well and credits Tahir for bowling so brilliantly. States that the batters need to step up now. Credits Hemraj for his wonderful knock. Mentions that he has played for West Indies before but got dropped later. Says that a very positive knock from him and his knock took the game away from them.

Nicholas Pooran, the skipper of Guyana Amazon Warriors says, that he is very pleased and he was having a headache with the batting order but now he is relieved. He adds that they wanted to come out of the gates early and get ahead of the game and he is happy that the boys executed the plans perfectly. Also adds that he wasn't concerned about the net run rate and was focused on the win.

Chandrapaul Hemraj is the Man of the Match. He says that it's all about belief. Mentions that he got starts earlier but couldn't convert it but today he was able to do so and is glad. Tells that he feels more confident and stronger. Informs that it is an unbelievable pitch. Goes onto say that Shoaib Malik calmed him down and that helped him a lot. He thanks all the people who supported him and kept faith in him.

... THE PRESENTATION CEREMONY ...

Barbados Royals bowlers could only try so much. Judging from the earlier match, the total their batters put up was nowhere near par but the way Chandrapaul Hemraj played just broke the belief of the Royals. Only Nyeem Young got on the wickets column and Ashley Nurse bowled well as well, apart from that, everyone else were taken to the cleaners. It was a day to forget for Barbados Royals.

It was the Chandrapaul Hemraj show for Guyana Amazon Warriors as he went on to make a blistering century. After their bowlers set the tone, Hemraj just came out didn't show any mercy as he smashed all the bowlers in equal measure. The opening stand was of 103 runs and that was all that was needed to set up victory for the Warriors. They achieved it in just 14.2 overs, propelling their run-rate high.

What an innings we have witnessed today. Chandrapaul Hemraj has led his team to a memorable victory as in a chase of 131, he has smacked an unbeaten century. Let that sink in folks!
