Nicholas Pooran, winning captain, says that he spoke about the challenge with the team and they were very clear in their thinking about giving the best. Adds that they have proved as a group that they can win this tournament and it is important to play as a complete team. Anrich Nortje Is the Man of the Match for taking important wickets. He says that he enjoyed bowling that tight length and lines with pace and rattles the stumps. Adds that it was a big challenge to bowl in this T10 tournament where you don’t get many balls to settle in in compare to T20 where you can take one or two balls. Informs that Zahoor bowled really well and he was mentally really tough and executed the plans very well. Concludes that the boys are training very hard and that has paid off in this match.

The game started with Deccan Gladiators batting first and managing 102 runs on the board with the loss of 5 wickets and in response to that, the Delhi Bulls started off well with both the openers batting brilliantly at the top. Tom Banton and James Vince managed to score 48 runs off the first 4 overs of the game and then everything changed for them. Both James Vince and Tom Banton were dismissed along with the entire middle order of the Delhi Bulls. It was Tim David who stood till the end and took the match to the final over where they needed 14 runs. The game went down to 5 runs off the final delivery and Tim David could only manage a single.
