Earlier in the day, after electing to field, the Trinbago Knight Riders' bowlers were on song, especially their spinners as they bundled Barbados out for a low score. It was a sorry batting display from the Royals as none of their batters crossed the 30-run mark. That total was easily chased off courtesy of a responsible innings from Munro.

So, that is it from this game then! TKR now go to the top of the table whereas Barbados remain at the bottom. CPL action continues on Friday as Jamaica take on the Kings! That game will begin at 1900 local (2300 GMT). Till then, take care and goodbye!

Trinbago Knight Riders skipper, Kieron Pollard, says that they had a tough start but they are getting the wins at the right time and mentions that the bowlers are doing a fantastic job for them. Adds that they need to focus on themselves rather than focus on the opposition. Says that it is the business end of the tournament and they need to focus on getting the two points. Ends by saying it was a good all-round day and congratulates the players who got selected for the World Cup.

Barbados Royals skipper, Jason Holder, says that the toss was crucial. Says that the pitch was a difficult one. Mentions they were 10-15 runs short. Says that they had a tough campaign. Adds that Amir will fly back to Pakistan and that will give someone else an opportunity.

Khary Pierre, MAN OF THE MATCH, says that it was good to contribute to the team and he is happy to get the win. Adds that the bowlers need to bowl in the right areas and they will be rewarded.

... TIME FOR THE PRESENTATION ...

The Barbados Royals tried their best! Especially Amir at the start and Bishop in the middle overs. Amir provided the perfect start to his side but he needed support from the rest. None of the others managed to take wickets when needed. Bishop did get two but that was quite late. The bowlers can't be blamed though as they did not have enough runs on the board.

An easy win for TKR and Barbados' hopes of making it into the knockouts are more or less done! This chase was never in doubt after the TKR bowlers kept the Royals down to a very low score. Yes, they did lose their openers early but Bravo and Munro steadied the ship and calmed the nerves if there were any. Bravo fell after the Time-Out, Tim Seifert also did not last for long but Akeal Hosein and Munro ensured there were no more wickets to fall and took their side over the line.
