Right then, that is it from this game as Mumbai wins this by 7 wickets. The next game of the Women's T20 League will be played between Delhi and Bangalore on 10th March at 7.30 pm IST (2 pm GMT). Join us an hour early for the pre-match build-up. Until then, cheers!

The skipper of Mumbai and Player of the Match, Harmanpreet Kaur says that they needed to win this so that they can play freely in the remaining games. Adds they are aiming for that top spot having missed out on that last time around. Mentions that she spoke to her batting coach and she was constantly thinking about the adjustments she was given by her coach and she looked to bat long. Credits the openers for an explosive start.

Beth Mooney the skipper of Gujarat says that 190 was a good score but credits to Mumbai as they pulled it off sensationally. Adds that they played well but the boundaries were short and Mumbai targeted them well and calculated beautifully on when to step up on the accelerator. She says that there are a lot of positives to take away from this game and ends by saying that they will look to minimize the damage in their remaining games.

Stay tuned for the presentation ceremony...

The wicket-keeper batter of Mumbai, Yastika Bhatia is up for a chat. She says that the wicket got a bit slower in the second innings and strokeplay became a bit difficult. Adds that they got off to a good start and they walked out with a positive intent but lost a few in the middle but managed to close the game well. Mentions that she loved the way her skipper Harmanpreet Kaur batted out in the middle tonight. Ends by saying that she enjoyed her batting as she spent key time out in the middle.

Earlier in the game, Gujarat managed to score 190 after 20 overs thanks to a brilliant second-wicket partnership between Beth Mooney and Dayalan Hemalatha of 121 runs. Dayalan Hemalatha was sublime with her stroke play as she managed 74 runs while Beth Mooney scored 66 as well. Bharti Fulmali played a good cameo of 21 too for Gujarat. The bowling from Mumbai too was not at par as they leaked away a lot on both sides of the ground. Saika Ishaque though picked up a couple while others picked in with a few as well.

The bowlers of Gujarat were taken to the cleaners from the openers of Mumbai and that set them on the back foot from the start but they bounced back well in the middle phase only to give it all away in the death overs. Barring Ashleigh Gardner and Tanuja Kanwer who were brilliant giving away runs at an economy below 6, every bowler went for a lot. Ashleigh Gardner, Tanuja Kanwer and Shabnam Shakil managed to pick up one each. It will be a hard pill to swallow for Gujarat as they had this game in their grasp for the majority of it but a sensational close to the game from Harmanpreet Kaur took it away from them.

Chasing down a big total, Mumbai were off to flying colors as they scored 50 in the powerplay. The side though lost a couple quickly in the middle phase and were staring at chasing well over 9 an over but the shift post the dismissal of Yastika Bhatia from Harmanpreet Kaur was something to be admired. The skipper of Mumbai took full monty of the Gujarat bowlers and smashed them left, right and center. The bowlers struggled to get her off strike or prevent boundaries that came in abundance from her bat. Harmanpreet Kaur saw her side home with a sensational knock of 95 in just 48 deliveries. Yastika Bhatia played a good hand of 49 as well while Amelia Kerr and Hayley Matthews chipped in with a few too.

TAKE A BOW, Harmanpreet Kaur. The skipper of Mumbai has won it for her side. An innings to remember from Harman for her franchise.

Play Halted! The sprinklers have come on and we need to wait for a while. Super sopers have been asked to mop the playing area as Beth Mooney has denied playing on a wet surface. Since it is something technical the request of Beth Mooney has been accepted and the super sopers are at it. Harmanpreet Kaur is on fire and Mumbai now needs 23 of 12.
