Right then. That's it from this game. These two sides will meet each other once again on 3rd March for the second ODI. The first ball will be at 11.30 am IST (6 am GMT). But as you all know, you can join us early for the build-up. Until then, take care and goodbye!

Jos Buttler, the skipper of England, is in for a chat. He says that it was not an easy task and the conditions were tough as well. Adds that Malan's knock was excellent and there was plenty in the wicket for the bowlers. Adds that they would look to improve on their bowling more. Ends by saying that there is plenty more to improve on and they will look forward to the next game.

Dawid Malan wins the Player of the Match award for his exceptional effort with the bat. He starts by saying that the experience of playing in Bangladesh certainly helped him to get his side over the line here. Mentions that if the home side would've score 30 to 40 runs more which could've made it difficult. Adds it is never easy to bat on a slow wicket. Informs that Adil Rashid has 10 centuries in first-class cricket, he keeps remining the team members about the same and he showed his class in today's performance.

Tamim Iqbal, the Bangladesh skipper is in for a chat. He says that there were not enough runs of the board and they needed 30-40 runs more. Adds that their bowlers did a good job and on this kind of wicket, 250 would be a good score. Says that Malan batted really well and they tried everything they had in the bowling options. Ends by saying that the bowlers did well and they will improve on their mistakes in the next game.

Stay tuned for the presentation...

Earlier in the innings, Bangladesh top-order got off to starts but could not capitalise on it, except Shanto who stood with the bat with his knock of 58 runs. Although, once he fell no other batter could produce a vital knock. Eventually, they were bundled out for 209 runs. For England, it was a rather collective bowling effort. All the bowlers chipped in and had their say with the ball in hand.

Bangladesh were on top early on with their electrifying start with the ball. Keeping in mind that they were defending a low target, the spinners did really well to control the run flow and take wickets at a regular interval. Although, the bowler could not keep things in the death overs and that cost them the game. Taijul Islam was the stand out performer with his three-wicket haul. Bangladesh would take a lot of positive from this game and there are certainly a side who can make a stong comeback at home turf.

This has been a good fightback from England. The visitors were off to a horrendous start as they Jason Roy in the very first over. The pressure kept on mounting as at one stage, they were teetering at 65/4 when Jos Buttler departed. Dawid Malan who came in a lot early at the crease, managed to bat throughout the innings to get his side over the line. The conditions were trickier for any batter, although Malan gave himself a lot of time to find his groove. Once he did that there was no stopping him. Later, the experince of Malan and Adil Rashid, down the order, helped them get over the line here.

A fantastic victory for England. They have taken an early lead in this series. Bangladesh though surely gave a run for their money but could not capitalize on it by the end of it.
