That concludes this game. The action continues in the World Cup. England will take on Afghansitan in the second match of Group 1. Switch and tabs and join us there. Cheers from here.

Kane Williamson, the skipper of New Zealand says it was an outstanding day. Adds Allen and Conway set it up and the bowlers were great. Mentions everybody has their roles, they wanted to get off to a good start and go through the gears and they managed to do that well.

Aaron Finch, the captain of Australia says New Zealand were all over them right from the start and they were outplayed by them. Adds Finn Allen went off to a flier. Shares they were slightly off and the net run rate took the hammering. Reckons they are playing Sri Lanka next and they need to win everything and have some luck on their side

Devon Conway is the PLAYER OF THE MATCH. He says it was a special performance. Applauds the way Allen started the game. Says Allen is young but he is explosive. On his innings, he just tried to time the ball well. Shares that it means a lot to beat Australia in Australia and this win will help to gather momentum.

...Presentation coming up...

For the Kiwis, it is a complete performance. First, with the bat, it was Allen at the top, Conway played throughout and then Neesham added the finishing touch and then the bowlers did their job. Mitchell Santner and Southee were brilliant and the rest continued the good work. A morale boosting win for the Kiwis who have struggled against the Aussies in recent times but here have outplayed them totally.

To be honest, 200 was way too much and on this wicket. It gets even more difficult when you lose your top three in the Powerplay and from there on, Australia just never recovered. They kept losing wickets and in the end, have fallen way, way short of the total.

A thumping win for the Kiwis. Not only do they get the two points but this win will boost their net run rate massively. Still, very early in the tournament but that can always come into contention.
