Jhye Richardson, infamous for getting injured in Australia, suffered yet another freakish injury as he jumped in celebration after taking two wickets in two deliveries.Â
In the video originally posted by Cricket.com.au, Richardson could be seen running and jumping in the air after dismissing Conor Mclnerney and Daniel Drew LBW on consecutive deliveries. The second delivery was quite special too, as it swung in a lot and hit Drew bang in front of the wickets. The umpire had no qualms about raising his finger.Â
Ecstatic after the achievement, Richardson ran towards his teammates and jumped, thrusting his hand in the air in celebration. However, he seemed to have injured it right then, as he was seen clutching it right after doing that action.Â

But in celebrating the second wicket he's hurt his shoulder high-fiving đł
UPDATE: He's back on and bowling! Great news đ pic.twitter.com/YIzUCdZMAK
He was seen leaving the field right after that, along with the physio. Thankfully, he returned to the crease and is now bowling in the game. Western Australia is also on the ascend in the game after reducing South Australia to 45/4Â
It would have been incredibly unlucky had this injury turned serious because Richardson is making his first-class return after almost a year, having been injured since last November. His international career has already suffered quite a bit of damage because he has been injured on many occasions throughout his career for Australia and West Australia.Â
