Cameron Green starred with the bat and ball as Australia defeated Scotland by six wickets in the third and final T20I to complete a series whitewash. The big all-rounder first claimed three wickets and then slammed 62* off 39 deliveries.
Earlier, George Munsey (17-ball 25) got Scotland off to a rapid start before Brandon McMullen smashed 56 off 39 to keep the momentum going. However, there was no support from the middle-order as Scotland could only manage 17 runs in the final four overs, to finish on 149.
Chasing 150, Australia lost Jake Fraser-McGurk and Travis Head with 18 runs on board, but that’s when Mitchell Marsh (23-ball 31) and Green joined hands and put on 61 runs for the third wicket. Tim David, too, played a cameo of 25 off 14, but it was Green who stole all the limelight, hitting two fours and five sixes.
