Bangladesh achieved a historic win against Pakistan, beating them by 10 wickets on day five of the opening Test in Rawalpindi on August 25 (Sunday). This is only the seventh time Bangladesh have won an overseas Test.
Pakistan, who came into this game with a 12-0 record against Bangladesh, got owned on their home soil as Mushfiqur Rahim, Shakib al Hasan, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Shadman Islam, and others stepped up and delivered one of the best team performances.

Pakistan lost their skipper Shan Masood very early on day five but Babar Azam and Abdullah Shafique batted for 13.3 overs and added 38 runs to give them some stability.
However, once Babar chopped on a delivery from Nahid Rana onto his stumps, all hell broke loose. The hosts lost eight wickets in the space of 118 runs and were bundled out for 146, setting Bangladesh a target of just 30.
Zakir Hasan and Shadman then knocked off those runs in just 6.3 overs.
