Travis Head continued his rich form, bringing up his fifty off just 17 deliveries - the joint-fastest for Australia in T20 Internationals (T20I). He achieved this feat in the first T20I against Scotland in Edinburgh on September 4 (Wednesday).
This was Head's sixth fifty in his last seven T20 innings. He put on 113 runs for the second wicket off just 34 deliveries with skipper Mitchell Marsh, who was dismissed for 39 off just 12 deliveries right after the powerplay.
Head was eventually dismissed for 80 off 25, holing out at long-on to give Mark Watt his second wicket.

Chasing 155, Scotland got off to a perfect start as Jake Frase-McGurk was dismissed for a duck - only the third Australian to suffer this fate on T20I debut. From there, it was all about Head and Marsh, who took Australia to their highest powerplay score of 113/1 - the highest for a full-member side.
Australia did not seem to slow down even after the powerplay restrictions were lifted, but it worked in Scotland's favour as they managed to pick up a couple of quick wickets.
This is Australia's first-ever multi-match bilateral tour of Scotland. They have toured twice previously - in 2009 and 2014 - to play one 50-over game.
