Opting to bat first in Bengaluru, India were bowled out for only 46 in 31.2 overs

After a washed-out Day 1, India opted to bat first in the first Test against New Zealand in Bengaluru on Thursday (October 17). The decision didn’t go as planned as the hosts were bowled out for 46 in only 31.2 overs. 

As is the case with all dismal collapses, India, too, have gone on to collect a number of unwanted records.
