Follow UsThe emerging Proteas are all set to play the first unofficial Test of their Zimbabwe tour starting tomorrow (July 31). All the matches will be held in Bulawayo, and the Test will start at 12:45 PM India time.
Western Province all-rounder Mihlali Mpongwana captains the South Africa side, meanwhile, the Zimbabwe side will be led by Innocent Kaia, who also plays for the senior Zimbabwe side. The ODI leg of the tour will begin from August 13, and included three 50 over games.
Here are the squads:
South Africa emerging: Mihlali Mpongwana (captain), Jade de Klerk, Dian Forrester, Valentine Kitime, Tristan Luus, Dewan Marais, Litheko Modiri, Andile Mogakane, Nipho Mpungose, Caleb Seleka, Lesego Senokwane, Andile Simelane, Codi Yusuf, and Ntando Zuma.
Zimbabwe emerging: Emmanuel Bawa, Innocent Kaia (captain), Nick Welch, Ronak Patel, Takudzwanashe Kaitano, Antum Naqvi, Arineshto Vhezha, Brandon Mavuta, Nyasha Mayavo (wk), Ryan Kamwemba (wk), Alistair Frost, Carl Mumba, Kudakwashe Macheka, Tapiwa Mufudza, Tinashe Muchawaya
