If you just woke up from a slumber, let me tell you that Joe Root and Harry Brook have broken a plethora of records during their stunning 454-run partnership in the first Test in Multan. They made the Pakistani bowlers so tired that they were bowling just for the sake of it rather than putting in any effort.
Root scored his maiden 250 and his third double century in Asian conditions after his 228 against Sri Lanka in Galle (2021) and 218 against India in Chennai in the same year. Harry Brook brought up his maiden triple-century in Test cricket in a partnership that helped England break the all-time partnership record away from home.
Not just that, he also scored the second-fastest triple ton in the history of Test cricket.
What are the other records that they broke during their stay?
