Former Tamil Nadu cricketer Malolan Rangarajan, who is the current head of scouting at Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), has been named the head coach of the St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots franchise for the upcoming Caribbean Premier League (CPL) season.
The 34-year-old served as the assistant coach & strategy coach of SKNP but he will be at the helm for the upcoming season. SKNP won the CPL title in 2021 under the leadership of Dwayne Bravo but finished fifth last time around, failing to qualify for the playoffs.
The franchise made the announcement via Twitter on Wednesday (March 03).

Malolan also served as the assistant coach of the RCB Women’s side in the Women’s Premier League (WPL) that finished second-to-bottom in the inaugural season.
The 2023 season of the CPL will commence on August 16th. St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots will kick-off their season against Trinbago Knight Riders at the Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium in Gros Islet, St Lucia.
