Isuru Udana
Isuru Udana of Galle Marvels was arguably the best player of the Dambulla leg of the Lankan Premier League 2024. He took seven wickets in four matches at an average of 18.7 and economy rate of 8.7. He also scored 72 runs off 38 balls in the only innings he got to bat in.
Rilee Rossouw
The left-handed South African batter, playing for the Jaffna Kings, scored a scintillating century against Colombo Strikers and got his team a much-needed win to help them top the points table at the end of the Dambulla leg. Overall, in the Dambulla leg, Rossouw scored 228 runs in four innings at an average of 76 and a destructive strike rate of 188.
Dushan Hemantha
Dushan Hemantha took five wickets in three matches for the Dambulla Sixers, and he was able to do it while being economical, going at 8.5 runs per over in a batting-friendly Dambulla leg. Apart from the leggie, every other bowler with five wickets or more, went for more than 8.5 runs per over at the said venue.
Pathum Nissanka
Pathum Nissanka of the Jaffna Kings is the leading run-scorer in LPL 2024. In the Dambulla leg too, he did well, becoming one of the three players to score a century. He did it against Dambulla Sixers when the Kings scored 218 while batting first. Overall, in week two, he scored 225 runs at an average of 56.25. His strike rate of 170.4 was the cherry on top of his consistent run making.
Tim Seifert
The New Zealander, playing for the Galle Marvels, scored a brilliant century to start the proceedings in the Dambulla leg. Seifert scored 202 runs in four games in Dambulla with an unbelievable average of 101 and a strike rate of 159.1.

Mohammad Nabi
Nabi, playing for the Dambulla Sixers, has had a horrible LPL. While he did not bat in the Kandy leg, in Dambulla, he could only get eight runs of 12 balls in the two innings he batted. With the ball in hand, the Afghan was not effective either, taking only two wickets across the 11.2 overs that he bowled in the three innings.
Shadab Khan
Shadab Khan, who took a hat-trick in the Kandy leg, found it hard to get going in Dambulla. The Colombo Strikers man could only score 27 off 21 balls in three innings. With the ball, the Pakistani leg spinner managed to get only two wickets in three innings at an average of 34 and economy rate of 8.5.
Niroshan Dickwella
Another player that fell off his form after the Kandy leg was Galle Marvell’s Niroshan Dickwella. Having scored 97 runs in the first two matches, Dickwella could only manage to get 56 runs off 40 balls at an average of 14 and strike rate of 140 in the four matches of the Dambulla leg.
