IPL 2025: LSG Get Speed Boost As Indian Pacer Set To Feature In Playing 11 Against MI

The Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) have been boosted by the news of Akash Deep’s comeback into the side, having been sidelined for the first three games due to an injury.
The speedster is likely to feature in the LSG, playing 11 for their next IPL 2025 match, which will be against the Mumbai Indians (MI) on April 4 (Friday) at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.
“Akash Deep is set to join the LSG squad on Wednesday and is likely to be available for the game against MI on Friday,” ESPNCricinfo wrote in a report.
Akash Deep, who was bought at INR 8 Cr in the IPL Mega Auction 2025, got injured while on tour of Australia. Since then, he has not featured in competitive cricket, and it would be his maiden IPL appearance for LSG.
Before joining LSG, Akash Deep got recognition as he was one of the most followed teams-Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
