In addition to these records, teams and players achieved a few unique milestones and feats throughout the season. Here's a look at some of them:
Unique Records
1. Mumbai Indians scored 234 against Delhi Capitals in Mumbai, with none of their batters scoring 50+ runs. It was the first time in IPL that a team posted a 200+ total without a single 50+ score.
2. Sunil Narine became the first player in IPL to score a century, take 2 or more wickets and take at least one catch in an IPL game. He achieved this feat when he showcased a spectacular performance against Rajasthan Royals in Kolkata.
3. Before IPL 2024, only twice 250+ runs were scored in an IPL innings. In IPL 2024, 250+ runs were scored in an innings on eight occasions.
4. IPL 2024 saw a centurion in both the innings of a match thrice. Prior to this season, there had been only two instances of a centurion in both innings of the match in the previous 16 seasons combined.
5. In the RCB vs SRH game in Bengaluru, for the first time in an IPL game, four RCB bowlers went for 50+ runs in their four-over spells. This was the first time in IPL an innings where more than three bowlers conceded 50+ runs in an innings.
