How can Virat Kohli get his Test average back to 50 again?

Prior to the series, fans hoped that Kohli would get his average back to 50 in the two-Test series but the 6 (6) has instead taken him further away from the magic number

Virat Kohli started the first Test against Bangladesh in Chennai with an average of 49.15 in Tests, but his average dropped to 48.91 following his cheap dismissal on Day 1, where he departed for just six.

Prior to the series, fans hoped that Kohli would get his average back to 50.00 in the two-Test series, but the 6 (6) has instead taken the right-hander further away from the magic number.

So, what does Kohli now have to do in the remainder of the series to take his average above 50.00 again?

The equation is simple: if Kohli does not get dismissed again in the rest of the series, he will need to score 196 more runs. That will mean he would have scored 9,050 runs with 181 dismissals, which will take his average to exactly 50.00.

If he suffers one more dismissal, a total of two dismissals in the series in total, Kohli will need to score 246 more runs in the series to get his average up to 50.00.

If he suffers two more dismissals, Kohli will need to score 296 more runs in the remainder of the series to get his average up to 50.00.

If he suffers three more dismissals, which will take his tally of dismissals in the series to four, Kohli will need to score 346 more runs to get his average up to 50.00 again.
