England and India to play first-ever Women's Test at Lord's

This will be the first time the ground will be hosting a Women’s Test match

India Women will play a one-off Test against England Women at Lord’s in 2026 - the first-ever Women’s Test to be staged at the Home of Cricket, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) announced on August 22 (Thursday).

The two teams played a red-ball game in November 2023 in Navi Mumbai, which India won by 347 runs. England Women have been playing white-ball games at Lord’s for the past three years but this will be the first time the ground will be hosting a Women’s Test match.

Before the historic Test, England Women will also play a five-match T20I series and a three-game ODI series against India in June-July 2025.

The first T20I will be played in Nottingham on June 28, with the final game to be played in Birmingham on July 12. Meanwhile, the three ODIs will be played on July 16, 19 (Lord’s) and 22 respectively.

England Women are also scheduled to play three T20Is and as many ODIs against West Indies in May-June. The three T20Is will be played on May 21, 23 and 26, while the ODIs will be played on May 30, June 4 and 7 respectively.
