Follow UsThe first edition of the Delhi Premier League T20 will begin in less than 24 hours at the iconic Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
The tournament will consist of 33 games and include six teams. We have seen how the local franchise T20 tournaments have given quality talent to state teams like Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra, and others.
Delhi and Districts Cricket Association (DDCA) are also hoping to see the Delhi Premier League (DPL) T20 unearth new quality talent who can be fast-tracked to the Delhi state team. The tournament boasts a long list of big names participating, with Rishabh Pant and Ishant Sharma being the most recognizable faces. Harshit Rana, who had a breakout IPL season, will also be in the limelight during the tournament.
A few players, such as Anuj Rawat, Ayush Badoni, and Suyash Sharma, who have played in recent IPL editions, are also set to participate in this competition.

Where and how to watch the tournament
The inaugural edition of DPL will be streamed live on Jio Cinema and telecast on Sports 18. The first game begins at 8:30 PM on August 17.
